Geographic Range: Their current ranges are throughout the regions of the Middle East through northern India and arid regions in Africa. Camelus dromedarius was also introduced to the arid, central regions of Australia where they are now feral. Its orginal range is estimated to be south Asia and the entire Arabian peninsula.

Habitat: Camelus dromedarius is sensitive to the cold and humidity, thus it is only reasonable they prefer desert conditions with a long dry season and short rainy seasons.
